The 2022 Poker Masters featured 10 events, running from September 21 to October 3, 2022. For the second year, the Poker Masters was part of the PGT. This year the series was made up of seven no-limit hold'em events, two pot-limit Omaha events, and one 8-game mixed event, with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $50,000.
Results were at a premium during this series, with Sean Winter ultimately coming out on top to win the Poker Masters Purple Jacket after he won one event and had a runner-up finish in another. On the final leaderboard, Winter narrowly edged out Jason Koon to win the series title, beating Koon by just 17 points. Winter won Event #9: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $432,000 and placed second in Event #7: $25,000 No-Limit Hold'em for $345,000.
The 2021 Poker Masters was the first edition of this series when a player did not win multiple events. It had happened in every prior edition going back to the first one in 2017.
