Creative Social & Digital Media Manager

Full-Time Position
Las Vegas, NV

PokerGO is seeking a qualified Creative Social & Digital Media Manager to champion our growing community, brand exposure, and communications through social media. The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional understanding of social media, has strong communication skills, and an engaging, outgoing personality. The Creative Social & Digital Media Manager should be “social” and a “people person.”

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee social media accounts across Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more
  • On-site presence at all owned-and-operated PokerGO and PGT events and the World Series of Poker
  • Produce, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily
  • Independently create, upload, post, and share video content generated from live events, including, but not limited to, event coverage, player quotes and interviews, moments unseen by livestream broadcasts, list-style content, and behind-the-scenes activity
  • Manage all aspects of the community and drive communication, engagement, and growth
  • Onboard new users and ensure interaction and retention across all community platforms
  • Work closely with PokerGO’s content, marketing, and communications teams
  • Contribute ideas and effort to our brand, content, and community strategies
  • Circulate information about the company and its initiatives
  • Answer non-technical user questions and troubleshoot
  • Manage Discord server, including organizing and hosting events
  • Maintain and promote a vibrant community culture within the Discord community
  • Build and scale a team of part-time moderators based globally
  • Meet sponsor communication and media requirements
  • Assist with content production as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience of at least three (3) years as a Social & Digital Media Manager or related position
  • Experience launching community initiatives
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics and trends
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Hands-on experience with social media management for brands
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of poker and social media
  • Experience with content production
