Francis Anderson has topped the 93-entrant field to take home first-place in Event #1 of the Stairway To Millions at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. Anderson walks away with the trophy, $6,702 in his pocket and a guaranteed seat into Event #5 or #6.

Six players were seated at the Event #1 final table. Thomas Henry was the first eliminated earning him the prize money for sixth-place. Following in fifth-place, Jerry Dababneh met his end when he went all-in against Wu Zhou. Dababneh's queen-jack faced it's demise when Wu Zhou flopped a king holding ace-king.

Danny Chi was eliminated in fourth-place and Galystan Karapet made his exit as third-place when his king-deuce was outdrawn by the queen-ten of our champion, Francis Anderson. Anderson faced off with Zhou, both parties equally and consistently battling throughout until it was Anderson's pocket tens that put the nail in the coffin. Anderson turned a straight, Zhou was unable to improve and was eliminated in second-place.
