La La Land Leads 2017 Academy Award Nominations

Oscar night is biggest night in Hollywood on Sunday with the 89th Academy AwardsOscars at 7 pm ET on ABC. Jimmy Kimmel hosts that gala event for the first time after proving a hit with audiences hosting the Emmy awards in 2016.

Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Sting are scheduled to perform during the show. In addition, all five songs nominated from Music (Original Song) will be performed live on stage.

Miranda is favorite to win for his Oscar-nominated song “How Far I’ll Go” and will perform with Auli’I Cravalho. Miranda rose to fame with the success of his play Hamilton.

Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from Trolls while Legend is scheduled to perform twice with “Audition (The Fools Who Dream)” and “City of Stars” from La La Land.
