Today, Poker Central announced the 2018 Poker Masters as the high-stakes tournament series returns for its second annual edition to the PokerGO Studio at the ARIA Resort & Casino.

The 2018 schedule of the Poker Masters features one $10,000, five $25,000 and one $50,000 tournament, including a $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha event. The series kicks off on September 6th and runs continuously through September 12th with the exception of a dark day on September 9th.

A new edition to the Poker Masters will be the maximum of two re-entries per event with the exception of the $50,000 event that will have just a single re-entry possibility. All tables will feature a 30-second shot clock and five 30-second time extension chips per player. All events will be uncapped and there is no tournament fee on the first entry for any player registering before 2:00 pm local time on the day of the event.

About the 2018 Poker Masters, VP of Content Sam Simmons said, “We were pleased with the turnout for last year’s inaugural Poker Masters series and look forward to building upon the legacy of one of poker’s leading majors. As we add on even more high stakes events, fans can expect a week’s worth of world-class poker action featuring some of the game’s best.”

The highest total earner after seven events will become the Poker Masters champion and receive the highly coveted Poker Masters Purple Jacket®. Results from all Poker Masters events will count towards the High Roller of the Year™ points race. As a High Roller Triple Crown™ major, additional points are awarded for all Poker Masters events.

The winner of the inaugural series was German pro Steffen Sontheimer who reigned supreme in 2017 making four final tables, winning two events and taking home a total of $2,733,000.

All events will be played in their entirety out of the new PokerGO Studio, with final and featured tables streamed on PokerGO.
