About this week’s lineup, Friday Night Poker host Jeff Platt said the following.
“To say this lineup has quite the cast of characters is a massive understatement. Honestly, I have absolutely no idea what to expect this week, and that’s what I love about it. Barstool Smitty is one of the more engaging sports media personalities out there, and to combine him with characters like Uncle Ron and The Manz presents viewers with a unique kind of entertainment.”
Platt continues with a staple of the show, “There’s a reason we’ve made Jordan “Gosling” Young a staple on the show. Win or lose, poker pro always manages to have a great time, and he’s the perfect fit in any lineup. Jennifer Tilly brings so much to the table. The actress/poker player is an absolute blast to watch play the game she’s so passionate about.”
“And Sam Simmons is the boss of ours so he’s great too, I guess. In all seriousness, Sam has done so much for the poker world. And the man can play the game too! I think his dynamic personality will shine Friday. If he’s able to get a word in.”
Friday Night Poker is a $5/$10 No Limit Hold’em cash game with a $1,500 minimum buy-in, bringing a fun and easy-going environment for players and fans, while still presenting headlining players that you would usually only see in the most exclusive games!
As discussed by Jeff Platt, Brent Hanks, and Amanda Leatherman on the pre-show, the lineup for this week’s action is as follows.
