Catching Up With the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™ Creator

Massive prize pools aren’t the only thing up for grabs when Poker Masters debuts on PokerGO in September. The winner of the five-event series will also take home the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™, designed by Waraire Boswell. The custom purple jacket will become a timeless trophy for the eventual Poker Masters Champion.

Poker Central caught up with the American designer, who has worked with Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and numerous Hollywood celebrities, including Pharrell Williams and Will Smith, as Boswell set out to create a new standard in the poker world with the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™.

For Boswell, the deep purple velvet color represents wealth and rightfully so. Poker Masters will consist of five High Roller events, ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 buy-ins, and at the end of the series, the player with the highest total earnings will be crowned Poker Masters Champion. They’ll also receive the Poker Masters Purple Jacket™.

“When people think of the best things that winners in sporting events receive, it would be great for them to mention this jacket.” Boswell said, before adding, “There is no better story than that.”

The Poker Masters story begins September 13 from ARIA Resort & Casino and continues through September 18. The entire series will be streamed exclusively on PokerGO and more information about the series can be found on PokerMasters.com.
