Wednesday night’s “PLOMG” on Poker After Dark, found exclusively on PokerGO, forecasts to be huge after $1 million was on the table Tuesday night. Daniel Cates came up clutch and filled Tom Dwan’s empty seat due to a travel snafu and played the final two hours. Cates and Dwan have a long history with each other, stemming from the infamous “durrrr Challenge”, and viewers get a chance to see them play a live six-figure cash game Wednesday night.

Dwan and Cates played less than half of the “durrrr challenge” before Black Friday hit and the million-dollar prop bet has been floating around ever since. Plenty has been made of each players’ actions on poker forums and they’ve even chirped back and forth with each other.
Cates revealed on “Rumble with Jungle” episodes of PAD that Dwan has been paying penalties, which was discussed on Heads Up with Remko. Over the past five years the pair had limited face-to-face contact, but have played a little in Asia, which ends Wednesday night with a $100,000 buy-in, $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha cash game on PokerGO.
Returning from Tuesday’s table will be Phil Galfond, Isaac Haxton, Ben Lamb and Brandon Adams. Haxton ran pure during that game and peaked at nearly $400,000 and settled for around $300,000 in profit by the end of the night.
Ali Nejad is on the mic to call all the action when cards hit the air live from the ARIA Resort & Casino at 8 pm ET exclusively on PokerGO. The full replay of the night’s action is normally available within a matter of hours under Event Replays on PokerGO.
