There were a few headline making hands during “Rumble with Jungle” week on Poker After Dark and most involved bluffs or attempted bluffs. This one, made by Brian Rast during Tuesday’s $50,000 winner-take-all sit and go, was successful after Rast put Doug Polk to the test for a majority of his stack. Polk eventually mucked pocket aces and King Rast almost reigned supreme on the first night of action, finishing 2nd to the eventual winner Jason Koon.
When nothing makes sense, you need to go with your intuition and @tsarrast shows why he is king on #PokerAfterDark pic.twitter.com/cT6LTxxWdJ

Rast’s skills were on display all week, as the high stakes regular played in all three “Rumble with Jungle” sessions. Whether it was bluffing at the right time, calling at the right time, or folding at the right time, Rast always seemed to know exactly where he was. Few people can make the right decision seemingly every time but that is what separates King Rast from mere poker mortals and why he is one of the best all-around players in the world.
Everyone already knows that Brian Rast is a force to be reckoned with on the felt but did you also know that Rast is not only fast but also furious? In the newest episode of PokerGO’s new prop bet series Major Wager, Rast, Antonio Esfandiari, and Jeff Gross get behind the wheel of a Ferrari 488 and put the pedal to the metal. Check out the entire series on PokerGO.
Doug Polk gets a pass for folding pocket aces this week on Poker After Dark for calling out Tom Dwan. Polk challenged Dwan to a $5 million heads up match and while there was some sarcasm and humor surrounding the video, part of me also thinks that Polk is 100% serious about making this game happen. If it did, the internet would break but hopefully not before Polk’s YouTube revenue bounces back.
The bankrolls are building ahead of the final showdown between #TeamHart and #TeamBolt. Who’s leading? @RealKidPoker calls it. #GameOn ♥??? pic.twitter.com/9qzhMSfYqn

I’m not exactly sure where this Usain Bolt and Kevin Hart #GameOn series leads but after watching him in this year’s Super High Roller Bowl, I’m all-in on anything and everything Kevin Hart. Also, Daniel Negreanu dabs at the end of this video and poker needs more of that.
