Can you imagine having the chance to play at a table full of your favorite poker players on national television? In the latest addition to THE VAULT on PokerGO, recreational player Arnold Thimons is given the chance to do just that. The third edition of Poker After Dark’s “Dream Table” series features Thimons facing off against a lineup of his choosing in a winner take all Sit-N-Go.
Headlining “Dream Table III” is Daniel Negreanu, making his second appearance in this Poker After Dark format. Joining him is the only player to participate in all three Dream Tables, Mike Matusow.
Also in the game is former World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Johnny Chan, who Thimons refers to as “The best in the world.”
One of poker’s premier power couples, Phil Laak & Jennifer Tilly, are also seated at the top-notch table.
When asked why he chose this specific lineup, Thimons responded with the succinct answer of “I wanted to play with the best and beat the best.”
As you might expect with a lineup of this much star power and personality, there is more than enough table talk to fill up any dead space. Thimons is seated right in the middle of the action and holds his own with the occasional needle thrown in.
In between Laak, Negreanu, and Matusow throwing verbal barbs at one another, there is great poker being played as the pros that Thimons chose to play with made sure to bring their A game.
The “Dream Table” format that featured multiple sequels preempted additional Season 5 episodes that followed the theme with the “Hellmuth Bash Cash Game” and “Railbird Heaven Cash Game” episodes following suit.
Can Thimons outlast the pros and come away with $120,000? Take a step inside THE VAULT and find out for yourself with all episodes of “Dream Table III” now streaming on PokerGO.
If you missed last week’s exciting Poker After Dark action, all episodes from “Perks of the Trade” are also available.
