Poker superstar Fedor Holz joins Heads Up with Remko to talk about his past life as a high-stakes poker grinder, and his current life as CEO of Primed Mind, the business he’s focusing all his time and energy on.
Holz amassed a staggering $22.1 million in live tournament earnings – the majority of which in just 24 months starting in March 2015 – and after winning the High Roller for One Drop last summer he retired from the grind. The Vienna resident still plays the occasional big tournament – and will participate in the Super High Roller Bowl – but he’s no longer traveling the international poker circuit full time.
Holz candidly shares his thoughts on staking, selling action, the rise of the level of play in super high roller tournaments, and much more.
Primed Mind is Holz’s new focus, as he’s close to launching the mindset app and course with the help of Elliot Roe. “Listen, Learn, Grow” is their mantra, and Holz elaborates how this can benefit not only poker players and professional athletes but everyone who’s willing to try it.
