Today, we announced that its direct-to-consumer OTT subscription service, PokerGO, is launching its newest original series, “2020 Hindsight.” The show will break down six of the most exciting WSOP Main Event episodes with Matt Berkey, high stakes professional poker player and the founder of Solve For Why Poker Training. “2020 Hindsight” will premiere on Tuesday, April 21st and new episodes in the series will premiere weekly.
In “2020 Hindsight,” Berkey will be brutally honest when walking viewers through each player’s individual decision-making from a theoretical point of view, while simultaneously teaching viewers how to improve and prepare for their next poker experience. PokerGO subscribers will also have the opportunity to download a free tutorial walking them through the high-level concepts Berkey discusses throughout the entirety of the series.
The series’ debut episode will focus on the iconic 2010 WSOP Main Event final table featuring Michael Mizrachi, Joseph Cheong, John Dolan, Jason Senti, Filippo Candio, John Racener, and eventual champion Jonathan Duhamel. There will be six episodes of “2020 Hindsight” in total and each episode will be approximately 40 minutes long.
“Our viewers are not only fans of the game of poker, but oftentimes, players themselves,” said J.R. McCabe, Chief Business Officer of Poker Central. “This new series will provide teachable moments to sharpen individual gameplay, all while reliving some of the most iconic WSOP hands.”
