The 2024 Poker Masters concluded from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Jeremy Ausmus extending his lead on top of the PGT leaderboard. He now holds a 534 PGT point buffer over Michael Rocco in second place.
Ausmus cashed three times at the Poker Masters, including a runner-up finish to Justin Zaki in Event #3, to increase his lead on top. However, the biggest mover following the Poker Masters was Jim Collopy, who amassed 522 PGT points and was awarded the Poker Masters Purple Jacket, a $25,000 PGT Passport, and a PokerStars NAPT Gold Pass. Collopy is now a near-lock to qualify for the PGT $1,000,000 Championship, and with two Pot-Limit Omaha series' coming up, he has a strong shot at challenging the players above him, and possibly Ausmus.
Rocco and WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo didn't attend the Poker Masters, and while Rocco remains in second, Tamayo slips to fourth place. Jesse Lonis moved into third place following his Event #6 cash, while Daniel Negreanu's Event #3 cash keeps him in fifth place on the PGT leaderboard.
Aram Zobian pushes his way into sixth place on the PGT leaderboard after three cashes for 225 PGT points, while David Coleman cashed four times to retain his place in ninth on the PGT leaderboard with 1,452 PGT points. Kristen Foxen cashed two times and returns to the PGT leaderboard top ten in tenth place with 1,421 PGT points.
Other big moves on the PGT leaderboard outside of the top ten include Isaac Haxton, who earned 458 PGT points and now sits in 79th place; Jeremy Becker, who earned 449 PGT points and sits in 54th place; and Michael Moncek, who earned 382 PGT points and sits in 59th place. Brock Wilson finished fifth on the Poker Masters leaderboard with 355 PGT points and is now 48th on the PGT leaderboard, while Justin Zaki earned 285 PGT points at the Poker Masters and sits 51st on the PGT leaderboard.
