Lamb, Steven Join Super High Roller Bowl

Earlier this month, Poker Central announced Bobby Baldwin’s withdrawal from the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl. That meant one of the field’s legendary participants would not be competing in the year’s biggest event and another Las Vegas legend, John Morgan, will be missing when cards get in the air tomorrow.

Morgan is also withdrawing from the Super High Roller Bowl, which leaves two opens spots in the 56-player field. Since both Baldwin and Morgan were players selected by ARIA after the initial live lottery, ARIA has had the final say over their replacements. Those replacements were confirmed earlier today, with Ben Lamb and Brandon Steven taking their places.

Despite their late additions to the field, Lamb and Steven are no strangers to the Super High Roller Bowl. Both participated in the inaugural event in 2015, when the buy-in was $500,000, and competed in 2016 but each will be looking for their first career Super High Roller Bowl cash this year, when they join poker’s most exclusive field.

The Super High Roller Bowl begins tomorrow at 1 PM. Day 1 of the event will be streamed for free, with the rest of the $300,000 buy-in event streaming exclusively on PokerGO until a champion is crowned on Thursday, June 1^st.
