“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.”
The internet wasn’t around when Ferris Bueller gave everyone the perfect high school yearbook quote but his words are just as powerful today as they were in the late 80’s. The internet, more often than not, moves faster than life itself and while we’re sure we missed some of it, these were our favorites from the past week.
No one’s ready for this. Watch the new trailer for THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS now! #F8 pic.twitter.com/3XEtv3YZKS

The original The Fast and the Furious movie came out in 2001, when I was 11 years old. When I was a teenager, those movies were dope. Over a decade and a half later, not so much. To be honest, I haven’t seen the last few movies from the franchise but the last time I checked, these guys were petty thieves that drove fancy, fast and furious cars, right? Now they are, um, doing whatever it is they are doing in this trailer…

On the other end of the movie spectrum, Jordan Peele’s Get Out has gotten rave reviews, even holding a 100% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes at one point. Everyone I have talked to has seen Get Out, everyone I have talked to has said they loved Get Out and I was honestly planning on going and seeing it over the next week. Unfortunately, seeing the #GetOutChallenge has confirmed that I will not be seeing Get Out. Everything doesn’t need to be a meme, everything doesn’t need to go viral, just let great movies be great movies.
Pssst: Matt Damon already did this… https://t.co/h2xTyyLUUW

We’re sticking with the movie theme to tell the International Potato Center, apparently that is actually a thing, that launching experiments to grow potatoes on Mars has already been done. Matt Damon, or excuse me, Mark Watney, grew enough potatoes on Mars to survive for a year. This isn’t news! Actually, it is, this is very cool for science, the future of the human race and space exploration, something I’ve always found fascinating.
We just saw more “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” footage. In it, Luke asks Rey, “Who are you?” Then we see her deftly handle a lightsaber.

More. Movie. News. At Disney’s most recent shareholders meeting, the crowd was treated to clips from Star Wars Episode VIII “The Last Jedi”. Daniel Miller, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times that covers the film business more or less gave the complete rundown of what kind of clips were shown on his Twitter page and while most of the sneak peeks were nothing to write home about, there was no Kylo Ren in any of the footage. Makes you wonder…
14th February: PSG 4-0 Barcelona
8th March: Barcelona 6-1 PSGBarcelona 6-5 on aggregate.
Biggest comeback ever

The reason sports don’t need to be scripted like movies, they’re perfect just the way they are. The second leg of their Champions League tie between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain was not supposed to be much of a contest. PSG won the first leg, at home, 4-0 and should have advanced to the next round with ease. But then, Barcelona won 6-1, scoring the final, all important, aggregate-winning goal in the final minute of stoppage time to complete the greatest comeback in Champions League history.
