The second day of the 2017 PokerStars Championship Bahamas saw new entrants, the field burst the money bubble and make a final table. Nick Petrangelo returns as the chip leader from Day 1 with 1.9 million in the bag.
Three other players crossed the seven-figure mark – Michael Rocco (1.5), Bryon Kaverman (1.2) and Luc Greenwood (1.1). But the short stacks included the hottest player in the Bahamas in Bryn Kenney and an emotionally charged Daniel Negreanu.
Before play began Negreanu was informed his 17-year old dog, Mushu, passed away overnight. He posted a handful posts on social media about the loss and received overwhelming support from peers and fans.

Kenney won two high roller events already during the festival with over $5.5 million in cashes in Atlantis alone.
Players return at noon to play down to the winner. Each player has $90,760 locked up but first place tops out at $905,760.
