The World Series of Poker brings the biggest players in the world together in Las Vegas every summer and the cash games that run seem to get bigger each year. Gus Hansen has been set up at Bobby’s Room in the Bellagio and he announced on Instagram that Phil Ivey is back in town.
The usual mix of $1,000/$2,000 was bumped up to $2,000/$4,000 with Ivey’s presence. The huge action attracted Dan Cates to play as well. Ivey
Hansen also posted his pics of stack when cashing out – in the neighborhood for $430,000.
Ivey hasn’t played in his namesake room at ARIA yet, but the big game they have has also been running at $2,000/$4,000. It’s unknown whether Ivey will play any WSOP events while in town – there are eight $10,000 Championship events, the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and a $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha High Roller remaining on the schedule.
