(Las Vegas, NV – July 19, 2017) – Poker Central® and JetSmarter signed a sponsorship deal for the World Series of Poker (WSOP), which continues through July with the WSOP Main Event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino Las Vegas.
The deal will include branded broadcast integrations at the World Series of Poker, the largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world. Since originally featuring seven participants in 1970, the WSOP Main Event has grown to 6,737 entrants in 2016 and has awarded more than $2.4 billion. Last year’s winner was Qui Nguyen who pocketed the $8,005,310 prize and the $500,000 diamond-encrusted champion’s bracelet.
The World Series of Poker Main Event begins on Saturday, July 8, and continues daily through the event’s conclusion on Saturday, July 22. ESPN, ESPN2 and PokerGO will provide the most comprehensive video account the event has ever seen, as players vie for a first-place prize of around $8 million, while competing for approximately $60 million in prize money.
