The World Series of Poker is now officially underway, but this week the Poker Central Podcast runs you through everything that happened at the Super High Roller Bowl. Going forward there will be five Poker Central Podcast per week during the WSOP to bring you all the latest from the summer camp of poker in Las Vegas!
Christoph Vogelsang was crowned the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl champion, taking home a cool $6,000,000 for the first-ever tournament victory, and he joined us on the show.
While Vogelsang is arguably the happiest man in Las Vegas right now, we also went through the other players that made the final table. From Jake Schindler’s dramatic heads-up loss, Stefan Schillhabel’s highly profitable laddering through Leon Tsoukernik’s biggest score we talked about Pratyush Buddiga’s deflating loss with aces and how Justin Bonomo’s two-day dominance ended in seventh place.
All in all, there were endless storylines in the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl, and then we haven’t even touched on the participation of Kevin Hart. Hart dominated the coverage on Day 1 and 2 and there was plenty to be said about the Hollywood superstars playing against some of the best in the world.
Last but not least, we touch upon the PokerGO streaming schedule of the World Series of Poker.
