Ep. 33 POY, PLO and Weight Loss Bets

On the 33rd episode of the Poker Central Podcast, we have no less than four guests! Ray Henson, who briefly held the WSOP Player of the Year lead talks about whether or not he’s deserving of the crown if he were to win it, while Ryan Hughes talks about coming into the summer thinking he was one of the favorites to win this year’s POY race. 

Anthony Zinno joins the show to talk about his transition to becoming a more all-around player, and his love for Pot Limit Omaha Eight or Better. Last but not least, we have Ian O’Hara on the show, who’s lost no less than 65lbs this year alone, and is on track to change his lifestyle for good. 

On top of that, we discuss Chris Vitch’s victory in the $10,000 Seven Card Stud Eight or Better, the tournament in which Phil Hellmuth finished in ninth place. Hellmuth does however still hold many WSOP related records, and we dig through the HendonMob to find some.
