Mike Leah and Darren Elias Join the Poker Central Podcast

On the seventh episode of the Poker Central Podcast, your host Remko Rinkema is joined by both Brent Hanks and Will O’Connor to talk about the American Poker Awards, the World Poker Tour’s California Swing and much more. 

The first guest on the show today is World Series of Poker bracelet winner and the current No. 8 on Canada’s all-time money list, Mike Leah who won recently completed his third victory in the WPT Fallsview $1k event. Leah now has three victories in this event over a four-year span, totalling C$573,244 in earnings. 

Darren Elias joins the show towards the end to discuss his record-tying third World Poker Tour victory at Fallsview that puts him in elite company with Gus Hansen, Carlos Mortensen, Anthony Zinno and Chino Rheem. Elias took home C$449,484 for winning the $5k WPT Fallsview Poker Classic, bringing his lifetime tournament earnings up to $.4 million.
