Las Vegas, NV – June 27, 2019 – Poker Central today announced the hiring of two senior executives with deep experience across mobile, social, and gaming products: Aaron Casillas, senior director of product, and Tyler Champley, vice president of marketing and audience development. The new executives have a combined mandate of further growing Poker Central’s live events business and the reach of the PokerGO OTT service, expanding the international footprint of its owned and operated tournaments, and developing additional poker-based products for fans worldwide. Both hires are effective immediately.
Aaron Casillas is charged with managing all aspects of Poker Central’s owned and operated products, notably the PokerGO subscription video service, and the development of future products to be released by the company. Mr. Casillas is a noted leader in the video game industry with 23 years of experience specializing in game design and creative direction. He has earned numerous awards, including a BAFTA nomination and back-to-back “Best of E3” designations, and holds adjunct faculty status in game design at the University of Southern California. He is also an instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles. A former world director of design for the poker franchise at Zynga, Mr. Casillas has led the development of games for Electronic Arts, Atari, Telltale Games, and many others.
Tyler Champley is leading all marketing efforts, paid and organic, for Poker Central across current and future properties including PokerGO. Most recently a leader in marketing technology transformation for mobile and OTT apps for AT&T, Mr. Champley has led acquisition, retention, and marketing teams in various industries from entertainment and gaming to the telecom sector. He also led AT&T’s first-ever internal media buying team supporting AT&T THANKS, DIRECTV, DIRECTV NOW, and myAT&T. In addition, his experience includes marketing social casino games from Big Fish Games, GameHouse, and SLINGO.
