Over the last few weeks, PokerGO has streamed over a dozen World Series of Poker final tables, along with extended coverage of some of the summer’s biggest events including the $111,111 High Roller for One Drop, but the best has yet to come from poker’s premier streaming platform. Starting this weekend, PokerGO and ESPN will be live streaming the entire WSOP Main Event, from Saturday’s Day 1A session until poker’s next world champion is crowned on July 22.
The historic coverage will feature over 60 hours of live tournament footage between PokerGO, ESPN and ESPN2 broadcasts and the familiar faces of Norman Chad, Lon McEachern and Kara Scott will anchor the coverage throughout the Main Event. A rotating cast of player analysts will also join the broadcast team, much like the PokerGO streams that fans and players have watched throughout the summer.
On top of live coverage on both PokerGO and ESPN, Poker Central’s Remko Rinkema will be running a Facebook Live show before the start of every PokerGO Main Event stream. The Facebook Live show, much like the show run during the Super High Roller Bowl earlier this summer, will feature a rotation of guests and will preview the Main Event action on PokerGO.
While Facebook Live preps viewers each day, the Poker Central Podcast recaps the action each night. Remko Rinkema and co-host Will O’Connor wrap each day of Main Event action with nightly podcasts from Las Vegas, with analysis, exclusive interviews and more in each episode.
Over the next three days, thousands will descend on the Rio All Suites Casino and Hotel in hopes of writing their names into poker’s history books and PokerGO, along with ESPN, will be following all the action. Poker Central will be covering the WSOP Main Event as well, with content from the floor, commentary booth and more throughout poker’s biggest event.
Be sure to follow Poker Central and PokerGO on all social media platforms, to make sure you don’t miss any of the action. A complete streaming schedule, of both PokerGO and ESPN broadcasts, can be found here.
