Las Vegas, NV (June 29, 2022) — PokerGO® is pleased to announce television and poker celebrity Rob Mariano, widely known as “Boston Rob,” as the newest PokerGO ambassador.
As PokerGO’s newest ambassador, Mariano has partnered with PokerGO on the company’s new Genesis NFT Collection and will be out in Las Vegas to compete in the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event. He will also host a special “Poker Night with Boston Rob” weekly on the PokerGO Hold’em free-to-play app and be part of a new, soon-to-be-announced televised poker show set to take place at the PokerGO Studio following the WSOP.
“I am thrilled to join PokerGO as a new ambassador and share the role alongside some of the biggest names in the game in Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, and Maria Ho,” Mariano said. “PokerGO represents the best in poker entertainment, and I can’t wait to get started on some of the great new projects we have to help continue to grow the game.”
Mariano’s appearances on the competitive reality TV show Survivor are the stuff of legend, having won Survivor: Redemption Island and finished runner-up on Survivor: All-Stars. He even met his wife, Amber Mariano, on Survivor: All-Stars in Season 8. Mariano finished second and his wife won. He also competed on two seasons of The Amazing Race with her, with a best finish of second place in The Amazing Race 7. Currently, Mariano is part of the design team and lead contractor on Season 2 of CBS’s Secret Celebrity Renovation, which premieres in primetime at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) on July 22 on CBS. Mariano is also hosting Beantown, which is entering its second season on Hearst Television’s streaming app Very Local.
