Run it Back with Gavin Griffin - 2004 World Series of Poker

Gavin Griffin is part of poker’s history books for a variety of reasons. Back in 2004, Griffin took Allen Cunningham’s record by becoming the youngest World Series of Poker bracelet winner and made more history a few years later by becoming poker’s first Triple Crown winner. Griffin won the iconic EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo back in 2007 and followed that up by winning the World Poker Tour Borgata Winter Poker Open a year later to complete the Triple Crown.

Since Griffin completed the Triple Crown, eight more players have managed to win one of each of these events with Roberto Romanello being the most recent player to complete this tough trident of wins when he won an online WSOP bracelet. Over the year, Griffin has focused on family life and playing local cash games in California but we still see him at the World Series of Poker every year.
