The Damned – May 2 – Club Soda

The legendary 70s British punk rock band, The Damned, released a 40th Anniversary deluxe edition of “Art of the Album” and the seminal release “New Rose”. Mainstays Dave Vanian and Captain Senisble founded the band in 1976 and have Monty Oxymoron (1996), Pinch (1999) and Stu West (2004) in the lineup playing faster and louder than ever. 

Florida Georgia Line – May 5 – Centre Bell

Granted the demand for country music is low in poker, but for night off to blow some steam and not think too hard, one of Country music’s most popular acts is in town.

Englebert Humperdink – May 6 – Place Des Arts

The legendary crooner sold more than 150 million albums across a career that’s stretches back to the 60s. Humperdink is performing his 50th Anniversary tour supporting his newly-released double CD set “50”.

Cirque du Solei “Volta” – Running Nightly – Under the Grand Chapiteau

The world’s most innovative circus and popular Vegas attraction has a new show running – “Volta”. They have daily shows, two each on Saturday and Sunday but have Monday nights off.

IMAX at Old Port – Centre Des Sciences Montreal – Daily

The Science Center in Montreal is a good break from the casino ground and has an IMAX theatre that’s currently showing “American Wild 3D” and “Humpback Whales 3D”. It’s located in the heart of the city within walking distance of other attractions like Basilique Notre-Dame de Montreal and the Montreal Museum of Archeology and History.
