The 2018 Poker Masters kicked off on Saturday and last night the third event of the series saw its winner crowned. Brandon Adams still holds the overall lead for the Purple Jacket while Keith Lehr became a real contender after taking down the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha event. Lieutenant Purple: All eyes are on Brandon Adams this week after starting off the series with three straight final table appearances. Despite chipping up earlier in the day at the final table of the $25,000 Pot Limit Omaha, Adams would eventually hit the rail in 5th, extending his Purple Jacket race lead.

Depa Decimated: It was a rollercoaster of a day for Jonathan Depa, who came into the final table as the chip leader with well over 100 big blinds. Depa battled all day, but as fate would have it, he eventually lost a monster hand to Lehr leaving him with just one big blind. Lehr and Depa got it in with Depa holding a set against the pair and a flush draw of Lehr. Unfortunately for Depa, Lehr caught a diamond on the river, leaving the young pro with just one big blind. Lehr came into the day with the second shortest stack but managed to use his experience to navigate through a very tough final table.
