The PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker is big and today is one of the biggest days of the series. The $25,000 SCOOP High Roller began earlier today and at the time of publishing, just over 50 players have entered the $2,000,000 guaranteed event.
So far, the field includes some of the world’s biggest players and players that will be battling in this year’s Super High Roller Bowl. Jason “jakoon1985” Koon, Sean “Nolez7” Winter, Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky and Justin “ZeeJustin” Bonomo have all taken early seats but perhaps the biggest name currently competing is Doug “WCGRider” Polk.
Polk is also one of two players live streaming the $25,000 SCOOP High Roller but the only to begin broadcasting at the start of the tournament. The other, is Jason Mercier, who will be streaming starting at 3:30 PM EST on Jason Sommerville’s Twitch stream.
This isn’t the only event Polk will be streaming though, as he’ll be back later this week for the $25,000 SCOOP Heads Up Championship. That big buy-in event begins on May 13th and should draw another star-studded field.
Poker Central will track these two $25,000 SCOOP High Roller streams throughout the next few days and will post a SCOOP recap when the series concludes later this month.
