[VIDEO] Cada's Big Bluff in the 2018 WSOP Main Event

Joe Cada will forever be known as the man to defeat Darvin Moon at the final table of the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event, but his 2018 summer might go down as being even more impressive for the Michigan native.

Recording a total of seven cashes, winning two bracelets and making four final tables, Cada collected more than $3 million for his efforts, the most by any players in the Top 10 of the 2018 World Series of Poker Player of the Year standings. Going into the World Series of Poker Europe slate of events, Cada’s still in a great spot to overtake Ben Yu and Shaun Deeb that sit ahead of him.

The Biggest Bluff of 2018?

Now, to the hand of the hour, that’s embedded at the top of the page. On his way to another WSOP Main Event final table, Joe Cada risked it all against Aussie Alex Lynskey with just 12 players remaining in the tournament.

At the time this hand went down, Lynskey was third in chips behind Michael Dyer and John Cynn while Joe Cada was ranked eighth out of 12 players, with only Aram Zobian, Ryan Phan, Tony Miles and Frederik Brink having fewer chips than him.

The final 12 players were guaranteed $575,000, 11th would get paid $725,000, 10th $850,025 and first to bust at the final table was set to collect a cool million.
