PokerGO fans and viewers expected “Perks of the Trade” week to be big, but we doubt anyone could have expected just how big the historic Poker After Dark cash game would get. That question was answered a few hours into Tuesday’s opening session, when a nearly $1 million pot broke out between Rick Salomon and Aaron Zang.
Those two players are back for the second night of “Perks of the Trade” action, along with Bill Perkins and Haralabos Voulgaris. They booked solid wins during the straddle-filled $300/$600 No Limit Hold’em cash game and that structure will likely hold into Wednesday night’s session.
High stakes professionals Daniel “Jungle Man” Cates and Brandon Adams return to Poker After Dark to take the place of Brian Rast and Phil Galfond, who played in the “Perks of the Trade” opener. Galfond was involved in the second-biggest pot of Tuesday’s session, when he ran into Voulgaris’ pocket aces.
While it remains to be seen if any pots from today’s “Perks of the Trade” session can reach those nearly seven-figure levels, the action likely won’t let up. Watch the nosebleed cash game, exclusively on PokerGO, now and follow Poker Central and PokerGO for exclusive content during “Perks of the Trade” week.
Poker After Dark lineups and structures are subject to change.
