Every Friday on Poker Central, I serve up a fresh batch of viewing ideas to start your weekend off the right way. This week, Weekend Binge Watch takes a look at all things Maria Ho, as the poker pro, video host and commentator has been involved in a plethora of thrilling content over the last few years!
As far as Maria Ho’s poker accomplishments go, her runner-up finish in the 2011 WSOP $5,000 No Limit Hold’em event to Allen Bari for $540,020 might rank first, but being the last woman standing in no fewer than four World Series of Poker Main Events – Europe included – is something that puts her skills and drive into perspective.
Ho can do it all, notching up cashes in a wide variety of poker formats including 8-Game, H.O.R.S.E. and Omaha and you can watch her in action in the 2014 WSOP Main Event on PokerGO right here. During the Season Final of Friday Night Poker, Ho also took center stage along with Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker, Phil Hellmuth, and Antonio Esfandiari. That epic cash game session is available here.
When the PokerGO studio was first opened in May of 2017, Ho was there to kick things off in a $100/$200/$200 cash game with the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Brandon Adams, and Eli Elezra. That night of play is available on-demand on PokerGO.
A staple as part of many commentator booths and on-camera video hosting during the biggest events of the year, Ho joined me for an episode of Real Talk with Mike Sexton. This episode is available on PokerGO as Ho and Sexton dove deep into the evolution of poker on TV.
Looking for something a bit more light-hearted? Maria Ho took a seat for Deep Issues in Drea Renee’s massage chair for some great banter with answers to questions you might’ve never expected!
Last but not least, learn more about the life story of Maria Ho in her very own Pokerography episode that takes you from her childhood, through discovering poker, her family not approving of her choices and becoming a successful poker professional.
Looking for more from Maria Ho? Listen to Heads Up with Remko in which she tells her life story.
