The season-ending stop for the World Poker Tour Season XV at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL boasts three events, including the $15,000 WPT Tournament of Champions. Monster Headphones added $100,000 to the prize pool and the winner drives away in a 2018 Audi S5 Coupe.
In addition to the cash and car, the winner of the TOC also earns a Hublot King Power Unico watch, a custom poker table from BBO, a seat in Tiger’s Night presented by WPT and a one week stay at a Wyndham resort.
“It is the World Poker Tour’s honor to celebrate its winners with the season-ending Monster WPT Tournament of Champions,” said Adam Pliska, CEO of the WPT. “We are incredibly thankful to all of our great partners for their significant contributions to the Season XV Monster WPT Tournament of Champions prize pool, as they have allowed the WPT to create an impressive overlay of cash and prizes in this rake-free event. The WPT Champions Club is composed of the game’s most prestigious champions, but only one will be crowned the champion of champions this April and drive off in a brand new Audi S5.”
Each finalist at the six-handed TV final table is gifted a Monster Superstar Ravebox, while each entrant in the event receives a pair of Maui Jim PolarizedPlus2 sunglasses.
The event features an action clock with 30 seconds for each action. Players have five 30-second time extensions throughout the tournament and each player resets with four time extensions at the final table.
The event is also rake-free and follows the $3,500 Seminole Hard Poker Showdown and the $10,000 Seminole Hard Poker Finale. The two winners of the events earn a seat into the TOC with the 17 champions of the current season.
