The L.A. Poker Classic World Poker Tour Main Event got underway on Saturday and a total of 546 players created a first prize of $1,015,000. A total of 69 players got paid and here’s what the current Top 10 looks like with just 35 players remaining.

The third day of play of the L.A. Poker Classic Main Event brought the field from 108 down to a select group of just 35 players with David ‘ODB’ Baker leading the way. Baker was the only player to bag up more than 2 million chips and he’s on track for his largest career WPT score as his best to date is a fifth place at the Festa A Lago for $125,240.
As of right now, eight WPT Champions Club Members remain including Tony Tran, Mohsin Charania (846,000), James Carroll (1.031 million), JC Tran (197,000), Matas Cimbolas (855,000), Taylor Paur (637,000), Andy Frankenberger (205,000), and the all-time leader in WPT titles, Darren Elias (910,000).
Start of day chip leader Andrey Zaichenko remains in contention, sitting fourth in chips, while WSOP Heads Up legend, 72-year old John Smith is still in contention as well. All remaining players are guaranteed $26,830 with a cool million awaiting the winner next week on PokerGO as well as the $15,000 seat into the Baccarat Crystal WPT Tournament of Championship and the Hublot Big Bang Steel Watch.
