Las Vegas, NV (March 14, 2024) — The PokerGO Tour® (PGT®) and Champions Club Texas are pleased to announce the schedule for the first-ever PGT Texas Poker Open. The series runs April 24 through May 5, 2024, and includes a $2,000,000 guaranteed main event.
The PGT Texas Poker Open Main Event features a $3,300 buy-in and boasts a $2,000,000 prize pool guarantee. The event kicks off on Wednesday, April 24, with the first of eight starting flights. The PGT Texas Poker Open Main Event is a PGT-qualifying event awarding PGT leaderboard points to players who finish in the money.
In addition to the $3,300 Main Event, seven high roller tournaments qualify for the PGT, with buy-ins ranging from $5,300 to $10,500. Included in those seven high roller events are five no-limit hold’em tournaments and two pot-limit Omaha tournaments.

The first-ever PGT Texas Poker Open features a robust livestreaming schedule. Starting with Day 1a on Wednesday, April 24, every day of the $3,300 Main Event will be livestreamed, culminating with the event’s final table on Monday, April 29. The six straight days of PGT Texas Poker Open Main Event coverage lead into an additional four days of high roller coverage to include the final tables of the $5,300 NL Hold’em, $5,300 PLO, $10,500 NL Hold’em, and $10,500 PLO events.

For the seven high roller tournaments, players can receive a discounted fee for on-time registration. The on-time registration discount is $200 for the $5,300 buy-in events and $400 for the $10,500 events - players to register on time for the $5,300 events will pay $5,100 and players to register on time for the $10,500 events will pay $10,100. Additionally, high roller players will receive a $30 food comp for entry in the $5,300 events and a $50 food comp for entry in the $10,500 events.
