The high-stakes action begins in January with the third edition of the PokerGO Cup, running January 11-20 at the luxurious PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The 2023 PokerGO Cup is a series of eight high-roller poker tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. Players earn series leaderboard points for finishing in the money of events. The winner of the overall series leaderboard will be crowned the 2023 PokerGO Cup champion and win the $50,000 championship bonus.
In February, the first-ever PGT Mixed Games festival takes place. Running February 4-11, the PokerGO Studio will be full of mixed-game players from around the world as they compete in a wide variety of tournaments with the goal of crowning poker’s best all-around mixed-game player. The eight-event schedule has buy-ins from $5,300 to $25,500. The series consists of $10,300 H.O.R.S.E., $10,300 8-Game, $10,300 Triple Stud Mix, $10,300 Big Bet Mix, $10,300 Triple Draw Mix, $10,300 Dealer’s Choice, $5,300 No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw, and $25,500 10-Game Championship events. In March, the first-ever PGT PLO Series comes to the PokerGO Studio March 11-19. Featuring buy-ins from $2,200 to $25,000, the PGT PLO Series is dedicated to pot-limit Omaha. Backed by extensive player outreach, the PGT believes it has put together a truly can’t-miss schedule of events for any high-stakes PLO enthusiast as the series aims at crowning the world’s best PLO player.
“Home to poker’s elite players and most competitive high-stakes tournaments, the PGT saw tremendous growth in the tour’s second season, with total awarded prize money increasing more than 50% and total entries increasing nearly 40%,” said Mori Eskandani, President of PokerGO. “Furthermore, the PGT is awarding the biggest player-of-the-year prize in poker history in 2022. The tour’s plans for the 2023 season can be summed up by, ‘Go big, or go home,’ and we are confident that we have put together an incredible offering of events that will allow the PGT to grow even more.”
