Las Vegas, NV (November 19, 2024) — Jared Bleznick has proven to be the man to beat in PokerGO®’s High Stakes Duel 5. On Tuesday, November 19, Bleznick secured back-to-back victories against Patrik Antonius, having won the first two rounds of this thrilling heads-up poker battle. Bleznick is now up $150,000, winning $50,000 from Antonius in Round 1 and $100,000 from Antonius in Round 2.
Antonius isn’t done yet, though. After falling short in Round 2, Antonius has once again issued a challenge for a rematch, with the stakes now doubling to an incredible $200,000 per player. The much-anticipated Round 3 showdown is set to take place on Tuesday, November 26, exclusively on PokerGO. Streaming begins at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT).
Bleznick carried his momentum from Round 1 into Round 2. Round 1 saw Antonius control the early portion of the match before Bleznick turned the tables and went on to victory. In Round 2, Bleznick coasted to victory, stretching out a lead and never looking like the match was going to slip from his grasp. Despite the consecutive losses, Antonius remains determined to turn the tables in the upcoming match, raising the stakes to push the competition to new heights.
