LAS VEGAS, NV (August 3, 2022) — The largest High Stakes Duel match ever is coming to PokerGO®. Live on PokerGO on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), Phil Hellmuth and Scott Seiver battle in a $1,600,000 match in Round 5 of High Stakes Duel III.
The full match will be broadcast exclusively on PokerGO on Monday, August 22, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), live from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.

Should Hellmuth go on to defeat Seiver in Round 5, he’ll have the option to walk away with his third High Stakes Duel championship belt after having won enough consecutive matches to earn the right to do so. Hellmuth previously defeated Tom Dwan in Round 3 of High Stakes Duel III and then topped Seiver in Round 4 before Seiver exercised his right to a rematch. A win in this round for Seiver would push the competition to Round 6 with $3,200,000 at stake, with Hellmuth having the first right to a rematch.
Per the rules of PokerGO’s High Stakes Duel, the stakes double with each round. A player can walk away victorious if they win three consecutive matches prior to Round 4 or two consecutive matches starting with Round 4.
