LAS VEGAS, NV (August 12, 2021) — NBC Sports Network will be the home of televised poker for the final three Mondays in August. The 2021 U.S. Poker Open, presented by Global Poker, is set to premiere on NBC Sports Network on Monday, August 16, with the first four brand new episodes of top-class poker action.
The episodes will feature some of the game’s most elite talent, including Jason Koon, Stephen Chidwick, and Ali Imsirovic, and all eyes will be on reigning U.S. Poker Open champion David Peters as he chases consecutive series titles.
The second four episodes of the 2021 U.S. Poker Open presented by Global Poker will air on Monday, August 23, and the final four episodes will air on Monday, August 30.
As the official presenting sponsor of the 2021 U.S. Poker Open, Global Poker will host an online version of the U.S. Poker Open on its platform starting Monday, August 23, and running through Sunday, September 5.

The U.S. Poker Open online series on Global Poker will be available in two parts, one using the platform’s Gold Coins virtual social gaming currency and a second using Sweeps Coins. Sweeps Coins are Global Poker’s free sweepstakes entry tokens used to participate in promotional play on Global Poker’s platform.
The series features 32 events, The Gold Coins part of the series has a total of GC 500,000,000 guaranteed across all tournaments and is headlined by GC 125,000,000 guaranteed main event. The Sweeps Coins portion of the series features SC 1,000,000 in guarantees, including the SC 250,000 guaranteed main event. The series will crown two overall champions, one winner from the Gold Coins events and one winner from the Sweeps Coins events.
