Deep in the corners of the PokerGO warehouse, a box has been discovered that contained missing WSOP episodes from 2005. Now they are available to watch exclusively on PokerGO.com on the eve of the 2023 WSOP, which begins on May 30 and runs through July 18, 2023.

Four episodes have been discovered, one coming from the WSOP-Circuit Harrah's Rincon Main Event and three from the Tournament of Champions.

The WSOP-Circuit Harrah's Rincon Main Event took place in San Diego in late February, with 209 entrants putting up $10,000 each for the buy-in. The final 18 finished in the money, and once down to the final table of ten, it would be Prahlad Friedman holding the chip lead. Chris Ferguson and Chad Brown sat next on the leaderboard, and both players were fresh off a final table at the previous WSOP-Circuit Atlantic City stop. Other notables at the final table included Robert Williamson III and Keith Sexton, and both of those fell in seventh and sixth place, respectively. After Brown fell in third, it would be Ferguson defeating Friedman in heads-up play to win the $655,220 first-place prize and WSOP-Circuit gold ring.

The WSOP Tournament of Champions was held at Caesars Palace in November of 2005, with a 114-entrant field set to battle it out. Players included WSOP-Circuit Main Event winners, 2005 WSOP Main Event final tablists, and select sponsor exemptions, including Phil Hellmuth, Doyle Brunson, and Johnny Chan. Brandon Adams would eliminate Chan in 13th place and Brunson in 10th place to leave the final table of nine with Hellmuth holding the chip lead. Also at the final table were Adams, 2005 WSOP Main Event runner-up Steve Dannenmann, and WSOP bracelet winners Mike Matusow and Hoyt Corkins, as the final nine eye the $1,000,000 first-place prize.

Adams, Keith Sexton, and David Levi were early casualties, while Dannenmann was eliminated in fifth place. Hellmuth still held the chip lead three-handed, but his run ended in third before it would be Matusow defeating Corkins in heads-up play to win the $1,000,000 first-place prize - matching what he won for finishing in ninth-place in the WSOP Main Event just several months earlier behind Joe Hachem and Dannenmann.
