The PGT Last Chance continued on Monday from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #4: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em. The tournament drew 114 entries and Brandon Wilson leads the final seven players.
Wilson won Event #3 earlier in the day before he entered Event #4 and ran up a stack to hold a sizable overnight lead with 40% of the chips in play. He leads a final table that includes Sam Laskowitz, Jeremy Ausmus, Kristina Holst, Byron Kaverman, Dylan Linde, and Stoyan Madanzhiev. These seven players will return on Tuesday at 12 p.m. already guaranteed $45,600. Up top for the winner is the $285,000 first-place prize, 285 PGT points, and the Event #4 trophy.
The field of 114 entrants created a prize pool of $1,140,000 and the final 17 players earned a piece of it. Chino Rheem was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his stack in on the river with a straight but ran into Wilson's flush. Aram Oganyan (17th), Neil Warren (16th), John Riordan (15th), Matthew Wantman (14th), Justin Saliba (13th), Jesse Lonis (12th), Brian Batt (11th), Joseph Cheong (10th), and Stephen Song (9th) were the first to fall in the money.
Michael Jozoff picked up his second straight cash of the series but just missed out on the final table. Jozoff three-bet jammed in a blind-versus-blind confrontation against Wilson, and when his ace-four couldn't improve against ace-jack, Jozoff was eliminated in eighth place and the seven remaining players bagged to return for the streamed final table.
PGT Last Chance is the concluding series of the 2024 PGT season and gives players their final opportunity to accumulate PGT points to qualify for the season-ending PGT $1,000,000 Championship, which is open to the top 40 eligible players on the PGT leaderboard.
Laskowitz has cashed in all four events of the series so far and, with this result, he will pick up enough points to make his way into the eligible top 40. Ausmus will add to his top spot on the leaderboard and could eclipse 3,000 PGT Points on the season, while Linde could squeeze his way into the eligible top 40 with a victory. The other players at the final table are further out and will have their best chance at qualification through a Dream Seat, including Wilson, who will be in pole position to snag one having already won an event this series.
Any player who chooses to play this series could also win a Dream Seat for direct entry into the PGT $1,000,000 Championship, as three will be awarded to the top three point earners of the PGT Last Chance series who do not finish among the eligible Top 40 on the PGT leaderboard.

When play resumes, there will be 23:00 remaining in Level 19 with blinds at 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 big blind ante.
Play will resume on Tuesday, January 7, at 12 p.m. PT, and the final table will be livestreamed on PokerGO at 1 p.m. PT.
