Negreanu had a very swingy latter half of the day, but managed to win the biggest all-in of the night when he eliminated Sean Troha in seventh place to end Day 1. Troha had been all-in several times before that and had started to garner a reputation of being "un-eliminatable." Steven Forman would fall in eighth place when Agarwal's ace-high flush cracked Forman's pocket queens, creating the seven-player final table.
