The 2025 PGT season continued with the seventh installment of the U.S. Poker Open from the PokerGO Studio.

It was a massive series for Eric Blair, as he tied the record (Rodger Johnson—2024 U.S. Poker Open) by cashing in five consecutive events. Blair's best result was a second-place finish in Event #5, and the 144 PGT points he earned for that runner-up finish thrust him to the top of the PGT leaderboard with 1,157 PGT points. Blair is tied for second for most PGT cashes this season with 13, and has likely locked up a seat in the PGT $1,000,000 Championship with his outstanding start to 2025.

Alex Foxen has now put two impressive series together after amassing 633 PGT points at the PGT PLO Series and now 354 PGT points at the U.S. Poker Open. He sits second overall with 1,031 PGT points, surpassing his 2024 PGT season points tally. Chino Rheem earned three cashes at the U.S. Poker Open and increased his points tally to 1,026 PGT points, while Kristen Foxen's Event #1 victory - and third PGT title of the season - made her the fourth player with 1,000 PGT points. She sits fourth overall with 1,015 PGT points.

Former number one Joey Weissman cashed in one event and sits fifth overall with 923 PGT points, while Nick Schulman remains the cash leader for the season with 14. He sits sixth overall with 918 PGT points. Daniel Negreanu sits seventh overall with 811 PGT points, while Jesse Lonis went cashless and dropped to eighth overall with 786 PGT points.

Shannon Shorr was crowned the U.S. Poker Open champion after winning Event #5 and Event #8. His 538 PGT points thrust him into the PGT leaderboard top ten, where he sits with 740 PGT points from five cashes. Rounding out the top ten is Jim Collopy, who has 731 PGT points after cashing four times for 244 PGT points.

Other big movers following the U.S. Poker Open include Nacho Barbero (16th - 483 PGT points), Neil Warren (18th - 476 PGT points), Erik Seidel (19th - 440 PGT points), Andrew Moreno (23rd - 415 PGT points) and Brandon Wilson (27th - 385 PGT points).
