The PGT Mixed Games 2024 series continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday with Event #4: $10,200 8-Game. The tournament drew a field of 61 entries and leading the final seven players is Dylan Weisman.
Weisman is atop the chip counts with 3,260,000, followed by Dan Zack with 1,655,000, Jim Collopy with 1,345,000, Mike Gorodinsky with 1,180,000, Event #2 winner John Hennigan with 700,000, Joshua Rhodes with 515,000, and Chris Vitch with 495,000. These seven players will return on Sunday already guaranteed $24,400. Up top for the winner is the $195,200 first-place prize, 195 PGT points, and the Event #4 trophy.
The field of 61 entries created a prize pool of $610,000 and the final nine players earned a piece of it. Andres Korn just missed out, busting on the money bubble when he got his final chips in with two pair in Omaha Hi-Lo. Collopy had the same two pair, but made a flush to eliminate Korn. Once in the money, Phil Hellmuth (9th) also busted to Collopy, while Andrew Kelsall (8th) was eliminated by Gorodinsky.
The final seven players redrew for seats at the final table and played about 20 more minutes before the conclusion of Level 17 brought Day 1 to a close. Weisman added a few big bets to his chip lead in that span.
Play resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 3rd with the delayed final table livestream beginning at 1 p.m. PT on PokerGO.
