The announcement comes after Poker After Dark debuted a new format this week, with each “High Stakes Hybrid” session combining elements from cash games and tournaments. The format, which was met with praise from fans and players alike, created some massive pots on Wednesday night, including the week’s biggest between Doug Polk and Jason Koon.
Despite this week’s cancellation, Poker After Dark will return to PokerGO next week. A new lineup, which will be announced later this week, will compete in the highest stakes cash game in Poker After Dark history.
