2025 PGT Mixed Games Runs February 25 - March 5
PGT Mixed Games 2025 kicked off at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday with Event #1: $5,100 H.O.R.S.E. The tournament drew a field of 130 entries and leading the final five players is Jerry Wong.
Wong holds just shy of half of the chips in play and is in search of his third PGT title. He leads a final table that includes Nicolas Milgrom, satellite-winner Huabao Chen, Benjamin Miner, and Walter Chambers. These five players will return on Wednesday already guaranteed $39,000. Up top for the winner is the $159,250 first-place prize, 159 PGT points, and the Event #1 trophy.
The field of 130 entrants created a prize pool of $650,000 and the final 19 players earned a piece of it. Michael Moncek just missed out, busting on the money bubble. David Funkhouser (19th), Ari Engel (18th), Michael Rodrigues (17th), Dennis Maschke (16th), and Andrew Kelsall (15th) were the first to fall once the money was reached. Following them were Mark Gregorich (14th), Jim Collopy (13th), Benny Glaser (12th), Mike Gorodinsky (11th), Marco Johnson (10th), and Clayton Mozdzen (9th). Jeff Madsen fell just short of the final table in eighth place.
The field then combined down to the final table of seven players before needing to bust two more to set the live-streamed final table for Wednesday. Josh Arieh fell in seventh place when he couldn't best Wong's two pair in Stud, and Steve Zolotow followed suit in sixth place when he couldn't top Milgrom's jacks in the hole in Stud Hi-Lo.
Play resumes at 12 p.m. PT on Wednesday, February 26th with the delayed final table stream beginning at 1 p.m. PT on PokerGO.com.
