The 2023 Poker Masters continued at the PokerGO Studio from ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jonathan Little bagged the top stack with 3,070,000 to lead the six remaining players in Event #4: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em.
Just a little behind on the leaderboard is Chino Rheem and Chris Brewer. Daniel Negreanu will also be returning for the streamed final table, while Justin Saliba and Brock Wilson will come back as the shorter stacks as the six players return for the final day of play at 12 p.m. PT on Tuesday, September 19 with the delayed final table stream beginning at 1 p.m. PT on PokerGO.
The field of 91 entrants created a prize pool of $910,000 and the top 13 finishers earned a piece of it. Zachary Grech was the unfortunate bubble boy when he ran ace-queen into Rheem's ace-king and failed to improve. Andrew Lichtenberger (13th), Jeremy Becker (12th), Kristen Foxen (11th), Adam Grovenstein (10th), and Jesse Lonis (9th) all made it into the money but fell short of the unofficial final table, although Lichtenberger and Becker both cashed for a second consecutive day.
The eight remaining players converged on a single table and Event #2 winner Darren Elias fell in eighth place when he ran king-queen into Negreanu's ace-king. Jeremy Ausmus was the next to go in seventh place when he ran pocket tens into Rheem's pocket kings. The six remaining players then bagged and tagged to return for the streamed final table on Tuesday.
Little, Rheem, Brewer, Negreanu, and Saliba all picked up their first cash of the series, while Wilson notched his second after a 12th-place finish in Event #3. They will all be chasing Lithuanian Vladas Tamasauskas in the race for the Purple Jacket as they eye the $218,400 first-place prize and Event #4 trophy.
