Justin Bonomo continued his record-breaking year by winning another major title on PokerGO. The $10,000 Heads Up Championship Final Four was headlined by the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl winner, who had his second career bracelet in sight.
Bonomo fought off a tough crowd of competitors on PokerGO to win his two matches and hoist the bracelet. Watch all the matches here:
Day 2 opened with Bonomo among the few notable players remaining and he charged through the $10,000 buy-in field into the winner’s circle. Bonomo faced little resistance and moved on to the final day from there.
The first competitor standing in the way of Bonomo was Martijn Gerrits. Bonomo set the tone right away with a river bluff that turned the tide of the match right away in his favor.

Bonomo’s yearlong run good continued at an opportune moment against Gerrits. All-in against Bonomo, Gerrits needed help and instead, the deck flipped Bonomo’s way to put the field down to the last two players standing.

Jason McConnon advanced past Juan Pardo Dominguez to set up a date with Bonomo in the finals. Bonomo seized the lead right away and then squeezed on McConnon until the Englishman had no more chips left to spare.

The win is the second major title in as many months for Bonomo, who put on an epic display to win Super High Roller Bowl in May. Bonomo also won Super High Roller Bowl China in March and is over $14 million in earnings in 2018 alone.
Recent wins at ARIA also place Bonomo at the top of the High Roller of the Year standings.
