(Las Vegas, NV – May 11, 2017) – Poker Central®, the ultimate destination for fans of poker tournaments, cash games, and lifestyle away from the tables, rounded out the Super High Roller Bowl field with the addition of Kevin Hart, completing the 56-player field of 2017’s highest stakes poker tournament. Starting on May 28th, fans of poker and Kevin Hart will be able to watch the most thrilling tournament of the year live, as Hart faces off against poker’s best, battling on the felt for a share of the $16.8 million prize pool.
In the star-studded field, Hart will be facing off against poker’s biggest names including the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Hellmuth. Demand for a seat to play in the event reached an all-time high this year, with spots selling out in less than 8 hours. This year, the field of 56 players, including Hart, will be competing for a first-place prize of $6 million.
“I love playing high stakes poker, and there’s no better competition than at the Super High Roller Bowl – the world championship of high stakes poker,” said Kevin Hart. “I am looking forward to all the support and positive vibes from my fans who will be tuning in through Poker Central to watch me stomp all over the competition.”
The first day of play at the Super High Roller Bowl on May 28th will stream live through YouTube, Twitch and Facebook Live. Viewers from all around the world will be able to watch Hart and the other 55 players in the field battle it out on the felt in the hopes of making through to the second day. The remainder of the tournament as it plays down to a champion will be streamed in entirety on Poker Central’s digital distribution channels. In addition, twelve original highlight episodes will air on television later this summer. More details on how to watch will be announced prior to the event.

Kevin Hart is leading the industry as one of the brightest stars in both comedy and entertainment. His recent acting credits include “Get Hard,” “Central Intelligence,” “Ride Along 2,” and “The Secret Life of Pets” – in addition to his comedy special “Kevin Hart: What Now?”. His 2017 movie roles will include the voice of George Beard in “Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie” and Moose Finbarr in “Jumanji.” Hart performed over 100 sold out shows in arenas across the country last year and sold out worldwide. He topped Jerry Seinfeld as the highest-paid Comedian in 2016 with $87.5 Million in touring. In addition Hart created a partnership with Nike and found time to write his first book “I Can’t Make This Up: Life Lessons,” which debuts this summer.
