The PokerGO Cup continued on Saturday from the PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Event #5: $10,100 No-Limit Hold’em. The tournament drew 100 entries and Michael Moncek leads the final six players.

Moncek accumulated on the bubble when he leveraged his stack to pick up a majority of pots against the shorter stacks, and he continued to execute well-timed plays and bluffs en route to the overnight chip lead. "Texas Mike" leads a final table that includes Shannon Shorr, Sergio Aido, Brandon Wilson, Nick Schulman, and Nick Seward. These six players will return on Monday at 11:30 a.m. already guaranteed $50,000. Up top for the winner is the $255,000 first-place prize, 255 PGT points, and the Event #5 trophy.

The field of 100 entrants created a prize pool of $1,000,000 and the final 15 players earned a piece of it. Justin Sternberg was the unfortunate bubble boy when he got his last few big blinds in and failed to improve. Jim Collopy (15th), Manuel Fritz (14th), Steve Zolotow (13th), Jeremy Becker (12th), Jeremy Ausmus (11th), Victoria Livschitz (10th), Brock Wilson (9th), and Richard Green (8th) were the first to fall in the money.

The remaining players converged on a single table and Shaneil Stokes was the first to go in seventh place when he jammed the river and got called by Moncek's trips. The six remaining players continued to play through Level 16 before they bagged to return for the streamed final table.

Moncek sits second on the series leaderboard in the race for the PokerGO Cup and a $25,000 PGT Passport following a win in Event #1 and a runner-up finish in Event #2. He trails only Joey Weissman, whom he battled heads-up in both events, and Moncek could leapfrog with a victory here. Shorr, Wilson, Schulman, and Seward each notched their second cash of the series, while Aido picked up his first.
