For most, the World Series of Poker is the only time when poker variants other than No Limit Hold’em are offered in high quantities but before mixed game players begin their WSOP grind, the Bellagio is running two pre-summer Mixed Game High Rollers. The tournament series, developed by Brian Rast and Daniel Negreanu, debuted last month, with Poker Central covering all the action as Ben Lamb and Daniel Alaei earned victories.
Next week, the series returns with some small changes to the schedule and structure. Monday, June 22nd, will play host to a $10,000 Mixed Game High Roller and Tuesday, June 23rd, will raise the stakes to a $25,000 buy-in. Both events will again follow an 8-Game format but will not include a cap in big bet games.
The Mix game tournaments on 5/22 (10k) & 5/23 (25k) will be 8-game this time around with no cap on big bet. Warm up for WSOP & 50k PPC!

As Rast mentioned, this is the perfect warmup for the World Series of Poker and the Poker Players Championship, an event that Rast has won twice. Las Vegas professional Allen Kessler also tweeted that there would be a satellite to the $10,000 Mixed Game High Roller on Sunday. The $1,625 buy-in qualifier would award seats into Monday’s event.
Follow Bellagio Poker on Twitter for information leading up to next week’s Mixed Game High Rollers and, if you haven’t already, listen to Heads Up With Remko featuring Brian Rast and Episode 14 of the Poker Central Pod to learn how these High Rollers were created and about the first installment of the series.
